This Chinese-style building was constructed in 1433 to house the memorial tablet of General Yi Sun momg who led an expeditionary force to Tsushima Island in 1419 to wipe out the bases from which Japanese marauders mounted attacks. He won so many victories that he was commonly called “the General of Fortune” Memorial services are annually held here. which was once his residence. in the spring and autumn.
